A treaty held with the Catawba and Cherokee Indians, at the Catawba-Town and Broad-River in the months of February and March 1756, by a commission granted to Peter Randolph and William Byrd. Included were an introduction, the governor's letters, commission, instructions, speeches to the tribes, the proceedings, and treaty which sought support of these two tribes against the French. Of note, some pages were missing from this copy. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library in New York City).
