1662, Lawes of Virginia now in force
|
|
Lawes of Virginia now in force, printed in London in 1662 which was collected out of the General Assembly records and digested by Francis Moryson. Of note, the second copy contained an additional preface, which indicated that this law primarily dealt with the control of the tobacco trade, although the table of contents demonstrated that there were many other laws listed. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress (c.1) and the Johns Hopkins University Library in Baltimore, Maryland (c.2)).
