1849 Constitution of Deseret, with the journal of the convention which formed it, as well as the the legislative proceedings which occurred thereafter. Of note, Deseret was a provisional state proposed by the settlers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City. This existed for only two years and was not recognized by the United States. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held the Library of Congress(c.1) and the Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints(c.2)).
