[Doc. No. 73] Special report of the Commissioners of the Canal Fund [Ohio], on the subject of the mission of Mr. MacCracken to London to sell
bonds. On February 3, 1840, the Commissioners reported that Mr. MacCracken went to London to sell $990,000 of sterling bonds at 6% and another group at
5%, principal and interest payable in London. He was not successful at all, so he returned to Ohio.
