1851 House bill to repeal an act from the 1848-49 session entitled "An act to increase the Revenue of the State," as well as for other purposes. This 1851 bill would levy various amounts on numerous items, including profits and dividends from the slave trade and ships, various types of jewelry and buggies, certain professions and many other taxable items.
