1773-11-22, Letter I to the inhabitants of New-York
|
|
November 22, 1773 broadside authored by "a Farmer" and addressed to the inhabitants of the city and county of New York. He wrote for the need for dispassionate discussion of the duty on tea from the East India Company on both sides. His discussion covered both the economics and issues of monopoly, seeming more in support of the taxes. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
