October 22, 1829 Communication from the Gov. of Missouri regarding a report reviewing resolutions of Georgia which stated that the federal government could appropriate monies to aid the American Colonization Society. In addition, another resolution was included which proposed that the President and Vice-President should be elected directly by the voters, not the electoral college.
