A proclamation, 1755 : Whereas the Great and General Court or Assembly of the Province aforesaid, did at their Session held by Adjournment on the 17th October last pass and Act entitled An Act for granting His Majesty several duties upon Vellum, Parchment and Paper towards defraying the Charges of this Government ...
