June 16, 1702 speech by Governor Joseph Dudley to the Massachusetts Bay General Assembly regarding various issues of the time during the recent new reign of Queen Anne. Of note, the speech noted that the northern provinces were not as profitable to the Crown as the southern colonies where the most profitable commodities were produced. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of a title originally held by the Massachusetts Historical Society Library (c.1), and the American Antiquarian Society Library in Worcester, Massachusetts (c.2)).
