SEE ALSO 52533 for reports. Senate No. 19 A general statement on the subject of the public lands. On January 30, 1834, Mr. Coffin sent the
Legislature information on the conveyances and contracts from February 1833 to January 1834. Pages 5-17 was a table: Date of Transaction, Names of Parties,
Situation [where], Number of Acres in Former Contracts, Number of Acres in a Grant, Number of Acres Sold, Dollars and Cents, and Remarks. Probably
90% of the transactions were 200 acre grants to soldiers. On p. 18-21 were Coffin's office accounts. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
