House Report No. 192 [Massachusetts]. Report of the Commission appointed by the Governor, under chapter 86 of the Resolves of 1893, “to investigate
the sale of intoxicating liquors.” Publisher is not identified (Boston 1894).187 p. This document includes the report signed by commissioners John
Lowell, H. P. Bowditch and John Graham Brooks, with several appendixes, tables and an Index. The report and appendixes consider the regulation of alcohol
in Gothenburg, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and the state of South Carolina; and the recommendation of the commissioners that Massachusetts adopt an
approach following the Norwegian method, with a draft of a bill to establish the Norwegian System of selling intoxicating liquors.
