|
|
Senate No. 60 On March 14, 1834, the Committee on Claims issued a report: the City of Boston had asked for $6,200 to cover the overage on the construction of a contagion hospital on an island in the Bay. There was a history of the hospital, information on the original allocation of $7,000, and an explanation of the overage. The Committee recommended allowing $5,000. Resolve: There be allowed and paid out $5,000 in full compensation for the construction of the contagion hospital.
