February 1, 1820 Report of the Joint Committee on allowing slavery in new states admitted to the Union beyond the Mississippi River. After
consideration, the committee passed resolutions, to be sent to Congressmen, against the extension of slavery, and to prevent slavery from any new states. 1819
Report of the Joint Committee on the separation of the District of Maine, along with the proposed bill establishing the process for said separation.
