In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight : An act for limiting and restricting the powers and duties of the overseers of the poor, in the several towns in this commonwealth, and for repealing part of an act, entitled, "An act providing for the relief and support, employment and removal of the poor, and for repealing all former laws, made for those purposes."
