1836, Proprietors of the Charles River Bridge. Protest and remonstrance

Senate No. 83 On April 2, 1836, the Proprietors of the Charles River Bridge registered a protest and a remonstrance versus the several act of the Legislature. Their document gave a history of their bridge and its tolls for nine pages. By making the Warren Bridge free, the Legislature had violated the Charles River Bridge's charter.
