A proclamation : Whereas the inveterate enemies of the United States ... have made a lodgement on Majorbagaduce-Point ... this board hereby invite the virtuous freemen of the counties of York, Cumberland, and Lincoln, upon the call of Brigadier-General Lovel [that is, Solomon Lovell], to exhibit the proofs of their zeal and attachment to their injured and insulted country, by voluntarily repairing to his standard, armed and accoutred ... Given at the council-chamber in Boston, the nineteenth day of August ... one thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine ...
