General Court. Act amending sundry acts regulating elections, 1826
|
|
An act in addition to sundry acts regulating elections, 1826. A person exempted from taxation was still eligible to be on the voting rolls. A jurisdiction could question if the person was constitutionally eligible to vote and ask the person to swear he had no impediments, but absent such impediments, the person had to be placed on the roll.
