June 16, 1773 Resolves of the House of Representatives regarding secret letters signed by Governor Hutchinson and Andrew Oliver and sent to After review the content a member of the British Parliament. Included were the suggested use of military force to enforce the raising of revenue and to intimidate the colonists, the "wicked" representation of the colonists as enemies of the king, and other inflammatory statements.
