Fortieth Legislature. House. No. 13. On February 2, 1861, the Treasurer sent the amounts paid for repairs to the State House from 1841-1860, which
started at $500 per year and rose to $4,500 in 1860. The superintendent of the building was paid $275 per year from 1841-1855, after which his salary
