1786 Statement of the committee appointed to resolve the extent and authenticity of private claims to unappropriated lands in Lincoln County,
particularly those made by the Plymouth Company for lands on the Kennebeck River. After consideration the committee proposed a settlement between the
company and Massachusetts; by resolution said proposition was accepted. Of note, an addendum, in manuscript, was added to this document. (Digitized from a
