impression of the Sharswood edition was printed from the plates of the Commentaries with the copyright date of 1859. Lippincott, who took over the
publication of reprints of the of the Commentaries in 1856, also took over publication of the reprints of the the Sharswood Edition the same year. This
printing includes preliminary advertising matter concerning a new edition of Bouvier’s Law Dictionary not found in the other 1872 Philadelphia printing.)
