considered on the principles of the constitution and the authorities of law. (This text was originally published separately in quarto, London, 1769, as an anonymous work; but was attributed generally to Jeremiah Dyson and Sir William Blackstone. The University of Chicago lists that anonymous edition with collation and imprint as follows: 48p, London, pr. for T. Cadell, 1769. For a Dublin reprint, see Eller Title no. 263a, P/L 34/51 below. The Yale Law Library’s copy of this tract, which is what was filmed and is offered here, is included in a work entitled A Collection of Scarce and Interesting Tracts, Written by Persons of Eminence ... during the Years 1763 ... to 1770: London, 1787–88, Vol. 3, pp. 391–454. The Yale copy has a caption title on which only Jeremiah Dyson’s name appears.)
