(Caption title reads: Questions and answers in Blackstone as taught in the Law School of the University of Michigan by Prof. Jerome C. Knowlton. Walsh was a law student at Michigan when this compilation was made. His Student’s Quiz Books, in fifteen volumes, were originally published in Chicago, 1893–96.
