Lush, Married Women's Rights and Liabilities, 1887
Married Women's Rights and Liabilities in relation to contracts, torts, and trusts, by Montague Lush and published in London in 1887. This treatise
was written after passage of the Married Women's Property Act of 1882, by the British Parliament. This law altered English law regarding the property
rights of married women, allowing them to own and control property in their own right. The treatise discussed the then current interpretation of the
act regarding a number of legal issues, although the author offered his own commentary in the appendix. Included in the volume were table of
contents and cases, as well as a subject matter index.
