Public works in mediaeval law: edited by C.T. Flowers, 2 vols., London: London: Bernard Quaritch, 1915-1923. (Extracts from the Ancient indictments
and the Coram rege rolls for the reigns of Edward III and Richard II dealing with the maintenance and repair of roads and bridges. This is the result
of a report prepared by Paley Baildon for the Selden Society on the class of records called Ancient Indictments. The introduction in Volume 1 provides
a general explanation of the content of the two volumes and each volume contains a general index. The text is in Latin with an English translation.
Volume one was published as Volume 32 of the publications of the Selden Society for the year 1915, and Volume two was published as Volume 40 for the
year 1923.)
