Bench). First published from His Lordship’s original manuscript, and the several references to the records examined by the originals, with notes by
Sollom Emlyn. With a Table of Principal Matters. First American edition, with notes and references to later cases, by W. A. Stoked and E. Ingersoll,
published in two volumes by Robert H. Small (Philadelphia 1847). Vol. 1 (xxxi + 752 p.) includes Mr. Emlyn’s Preface to the original edition (1736); a
table of contents to volume 1; and chapters I-LXV, concerning pleas of the crown in criminal matters. Vol. 2 (lxiv + 644 p.) includes tables of
abbreviations, cases and of contents for vol. 2; and chapters I-LVIII, concerning pleas of the crown in civil matters.
