1889 Typescript copy of the Organic Act, Bill No. 10, passed by the Cimarron Territory Council, with a transmittal note attached, dated June 29,
1912. Of note, Cimarron Territory referred to the area that is now the Oklahoma Panhandle, a strip of land 34 miles wide and 169 miles long. In the 1880s
a grassroots movement sought territorial status for Cimarron Territory. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Oklahoma
