Special report of the State Treasurer in obedience to a resolution of the House. January 1859. Baton Rouge : J.M. Taylor, 1859. The report
explained about the warrants the Treasurer had refused to pay, including his correspondence with the Attorney-General, in conjunction with the appropriate
warrant. The report was thirty-six pages long, with pages 24-32 missing, so there were many warrants. The Treasurer gave cogent explanations for all
his actions.
