Journal of the Convention to form a constitution for the State of Wisconsin, with a sketch of the debates. The convention began in Madison on
December 15, 1847; this document was printed in Madison in 1848. A list of members was also included, as well as the abstract of votes held at an election
on April 6, 1847 on the subject of suffrage for blacks. An index was included at the end of the journal. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
originally held by the Library of Congress).
