1848, Message from the President with Wisconsin Constitution
March 16, 1848 Message of President James Polk submitting a copy of the 1848 Constitution of the Wisconsin, along with related documents. This
constitution did not mention property rights for women, did not include banking prohibitions in the document, and made other more conservative provisions
that the one of 1846 which was not ratified (see LLMC #00519t). (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
