1876 Report of the Commissioners appointed under December 17, 1874 act for these commissioners to liquidate and adjust all claims against against
Alabama arising from bonds issued or endorsed in the name of the state. The report established the financial conditions of the state and gave various
recommendations. Attached were a settlement proposal for the settlement of state bonds and the Report of the Joint Committee on public debt, as well as
a dissenting statement from one member. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
