Journal of the State Convention which was held from January 7 to March 30, 1861; this journal covered the convention until the end of January. Also
included were the ordinances and resolutions adopted in January 1861, along with an appendix, containing numerous documents and correspondence.
Printed in Jackson in 1861. Of note, this was the convention in which Mississippi seceded from the United States. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
