1809 Petition of French-Canadian inhabitants in Detroit requesting that Congress have laws passed concerning the Michigan Territory be translated
into French so that the French Canadian residents will better know their obligations. Of note, there is damage (tears?) on the left side of the first
page, as well as on the various signature pages. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Burton Historical Collection in
Detroit, Michigan).
