October 20, 1787 Proclamation of Governor Thomas Chittenden requiring the people of Vermont to obey all laws, and for all officials to be vigilant in the execution of the laws. February 23, 1779 Proclamation by Governor Thomas Chittenden of Vermont which require all persons to follow and obey the laws of the state, and advising officials to be vigilant in executing same.
