House No. 67 Mr. Lindsay had several questions for the Supreme Judicial Court: Are people who live on federal land such as a naval base entitled to use local schools? Can they be assessed local taxes? Will they, after the appropriate time, become legal residents of the state? Can they vote locally? If someone is not a federal employee, but still lives on the base, what is their voting status? Do they pay local taxes?
