Senate. Act amendings an act regulating towns, 1827
|

Senate No. 22. An Act in addition to an act entitled "an act for the regulating of towns, settling their power, and for the choice of town officers," 1827. Towns with settled boundaries were to share the expense of posting four foot high stone monuments at each angle of the boundaries with the correct name of the town on each face of the stone. Towns along state lines were to walk the boundaries every five years. There were penalties for failure to comply.
