1810 Committee report regarding the petition of James Bowdoin and others requesting that the state establish a general hospital for sick and insane persons in Boston. After consideration, the committee agreed with the petitioners and attached a bill for the incorporation of Massachusetts General Hospital. 1808 Act for the regulation of the state militia, and the repeal of all prior laws relevant to that issue. Included in the act were listings of those exempted from the militia, as well as arrangement of the militia and the duties and powers of the officers.
