A Journal of Proceedings of the Commissioners appointed for managing a treaty of peace between Massachusetts Bay and the Eastern Indians. The
proceedings were held at Falmouth, York County, beginning on September 1749 and resulted in a peace treaty with the tribes within the territories of
Massachusetts Bay. A proclamation by Governor Spencer Phips announcing peace was found at the end of the journal. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
originally held by the Harvard University Library at Cambridge, Massachusetts).
