Petition of Mass. to the King, 1768
An Appendix which included the 1768 Petition to the king from the House of Representatives of Massachusetts Bay seeking relief from the taxes passed
by the British Parliament. A similar petition was included in a letter dated January 15, 1768 to the Earl of Shelburne, one of the king's Secretaries
of State. Other similarly themed correspondence was also included in this appendix. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by
the Boston Public Library).
Title:   Appendix. Agreable to a vote of the Honorable House of Representatives of the Province of the Massachusetts-Bay, the following humble, dutiful and loyal petition to the King, signed by the Speaker, by their order of the 20th January 1768 : together with the representations of the House to his Majesty's ministers, their letter to their agent, &c. are here inserted.
