House. Comm. on Education. Report of the State Normal School, 1865
|
|
Forty-fourth Legislature. House. No. 26. The Committee on Education visited the State Normal School on February 2, 1865 and submitted its report on February 7, 1865. The Committee was impressed by everything about the school and its location; the Legislature should be proud of what it supported! The second building was almost done; the school would be able to accommodate 300 students, beginning in the spring term. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Maine Historical Society Library, the Maine State Library, and the Library of Congress).
