SEE ALSO 56390, 56406, 56407, 56410 Forty-third Legislature. Senate. No. 8. An Act providing for bounties to soldiers, 1864. The act gave
bounties, under several conditions, to soldiers who enlisted through October 1863. There were directions to towns about how to handle payments. One amendment
included soldiers who had enlisted in response to the February 1864 draft and another re-numbered the sections. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
