Fortieth Legislature. House. No. 21. The Committee on the Judiciary submitted: An Act to amend chapter one hundred six of the Revised Statutes,
relating to the selection and service of jurors, 1861. Section ten would be replaced.
When the Sheriff received the list of names for the jury pool,
he would notify the constables in affected towns who would post the list in two public places. The jurors had to gather in a timely fashion.
