Fortieth Legislature. House. No. 16. The Committee on Mercantile Affairs and Insurance offered: An Act additional to, and amendatory of, an act to
supply the people of Rockland with pure water, passed August 22, 1850, 1861. The Rockland Water Company was authorized to draw from several listed
water sources with the same responsibilities as before. It could supply water to other listed towns and could hold real and personal estate to
