Thirty-ninth Legislature. Senate. No. 17. The Joint Committee on Division of Towns submitted: An Act to incorporate the town of Wintersport, 1860.
The boundaries of the town were established in Waldo County. The new town had to settle any tax debt with Frankfort. only the Frankfort farm would
transfer to Wintersport. They had to re-align the school districts and call a meeting to organize the town government. (Digitized from a microfilm
copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
