Thirty-seventh Legislature. House. No. 16 An Act to amend chapters six and eighteen of the Revised Statutes, relating to location and repair of
roads in incorporated places, 1858. The county commissioners could respond to petitions to lay out, alter, or discontinue roads. Local landowners or
owners and the county would pay for such activity, followed by directions about how to do that. Landowners could pay their share in money or labor
