1841 Report of the Joint Select Committee regarding various petitions, votes, and petitions regarding amendments to the Constitution. Of note two
amendments were more prevalent: to reduce the number of members of the House of Representatives, and that the Legislature meet biannually. The committee
supported both changes, as well as election the governor and state officers to two year terms. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally
