1792 Draughts (draft) of bills prepared by a committee appointed to review all laws and draft a new edition of the laws of the Commonwealth of
Virginia. This version was to reform various rules of construction, as well as to reduce similar, multiple laws into a single act. This two volume draft
was submitted to the Governor on August 18, 1972 and thereafter printed in Richmond. Included in each volume was a table of the foregoing bills,
listing the number, title and page number, as well as some handwritten notes in the margins of this copy. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title

Draughts of such bills as have been prepared by the committee appointed under the act, intituled, "An act, to amend an act, intituled, An act, concerning a new edition of the laws of this Commonwealth, reforming certain rules of legal construction, and providing for the due publication of the laws and resolutions of each session," passed on the twenty-third day of December, in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety, on the subjects of those laws which from their multiplicity require to be reduced into single acts.
