August 8, 1747 Memorial, written by Daniel MacKercher, regarding the tobacco trade. The memorial, directed at the tobacco planters in Virginia and
Maryland, sought to convince them to utilize his plan to sell their tobacco to The Company of Farmers General of the Revenue of France in a more direct
method rather than through London middlemen. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the John Carter Brown Library in
Providence, Rhode Island).
