Letter entitled "The Relation of the Right Honourable the Lord De-La-Warre, Lord Governour and Captaine Generall of the Colonie, planted in Virginia," written by Thomas West, Lord Governour and published in 1611 in London. West wrote this letter to his superiors at the Virginia Company of London to explain both why he left the colony due to sickness (and ended up in Britain), and the state of the colony when he departed.
