1590 Pamphlet written by Thomas Hariot (servant to Sir Walter Raleigh) entitled "A briefe and true report of the new found land of Virginia."
Included was information regarding the commodities, and the nature and manners of the "natural inhabitants." There are numerous illustrations, with a
separate table of contents, as well as another table of contents regarding the various topics and subjects in the pamphlet. Printed at Franckfort in 1590.

Which remained vnder the gouernement of twelue monethes; at the speciall charge and direction of the Honourable Sir Walter Raleigh Knight lord Warden of the stanneries who therein hath beene fauoured and authorised by her Maiestie and her letters patents / This fore booke is made in English by Thomas Hariot seruantt to the abouenamed Sir Walter, a member of the Colony, and there imployed in discouering Cum gratia et privilegio Caes.
